PhotoChain

Every image has a creator. PhotoChain makes sure the world knows who.

ProvenanceCryptographyWeb
Overview

PhotoChain is a public registry that cryptographically links digital images to the people who made them. Once an image is registered, its origin travels with it no matter where it gets shared, reposted, or republished. Ownership becomes a fact, not a claim.

The Problem

The internet strips attribution by default. Images get downloaded, cropped, and reshared until the original creator is invisible. There is no neutral, tamper-evident record of who made what and no way to prove it after the fact.
